Feeding Guide
- Use: Treat / meal topper only; not a complete diet.
Suggested daily amount:
- Small dogs (≤5 kg): 1–3 small pieces per day
- Medium dogs (5–15 kg): 3–6 pieces per day
- Large dogs (≥15 kg): 5–10 pieces per day
- Can be fed directly, crumbled over kibble/wet food, or lightly rehydrated with warm water for dogs that prefer softer textures.
- Treat calories should generally stay within 10% of daily energy intake; always provide plenty of fresh water.
Notes
- Sweet potatoes contain starch and natural sugars; for dogs with diabetes, severe obesity or chronic kidney disease, consult your vet before using this treat regularly.
- When introducing for the first time, start with a small amount and monitor stools and digestion for 1–2 days. Stop feeding and seek veterinary advice if your dog develops persistent diarrhoea, vomiting or significant bloating.
